Supervision
Supporting Your Growth as a Practitioner
Whether you are an emerging counsellor, an experienced caseworker, or a student beginning your professional journey, high-quality supervision is essential to ongoing development, ethical practice, and resilience in the field.
Adrian Workman is an experienced clinical supervisor offering individual and group supervision to counsellors, counselling students, caseworkers, and community mental health workers.
Drawing on many years of professional experience, Adrian has provided supervision for a range of organisations, including Uniting Southwest Sydney Homelessness Services, Mission Australia, and Phoenix House Youth Services, as well as supporting individual practitioners across the mental health and counselling sectors.
Adrian uses the RISE UP Clinical and Professional Supervision Model, a nationally endorsed framework recognised by Australia’s leading professional counselling bodies. This model provides a structured, reflective, and strengths-based approach to supervision, focusing on skill development, ethical practice, worker well-being, and high-quality service delivery.
Supervision with Adrian offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space to:
Reflect on your practice and professional experiences
Develop and strengthen clinical skills
Explore challenges and ethical issues
Maintain professional standards
Build resilience and sustain well-being in your work
Supervision is distinct from workplace line management. It is not about performance management, but about enhancing professional growth, self-awareness, and reflective practice.
Supervision Options:
Individual Supervision (in-person or online)
Group Supervision (by arrangement)
